Our Staff
 This remarkable team works closely with Dr. Kattner to accomplish your treatment goals with uncompromised compassion and expertise. We take pride in running on schedule and still assuring that each appointment is a pleasant experience for you or your children. Dr. Kattner and his staff have regular in-house training days and also participate in association meetings to stay at the leading edge of treatment appliances and techniques. Wendy Bereczky, Office Manager  Wendy has been with Kattner Orthodontics since 1998. As our office manager, she works closely with Dr. Kattner to create the great environment so many families have come to know as our hallmark. Wendy not only manages our team, but she is also our patient advocate and the source of many wonderful ideas that have made our office better and better with each passing month. Wendy was born and raised in Waukegan, IL married her high school sweetheart in 1979, and together they have two sons. Jennie Ballard, Administrative Assistant  Jennie worked at Kattner Orthodontics some years ago and we are excited to welcome her back! Jennie brings with her many years of clinical orthodontic chairside assisting experience. This time around you will see her at the front desk helping out Wendy. You will get to meet her when making appointments and when you call our office in the afternoon. Jennie was born and raised here in Waukegan and has a beautiful 2 year old daughter. In her spare time Jennie enjoys spending time with loved ones being creative and active.  Lauren Marello, Treatment CoordinatorLauren has been with Kattner Orthodontics since 2000. Lauren has great communication skills and a vast knowledge of the many aspects of clinical orthodontics, so she is the perfect person to coordinate our new patient examination process. She has been married to her husband Jimmy since 2008 and has one daughter. She was born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois and graduated from Waukegan High School in 1997. She enjoys volleyball, reading, and travel. Sharon Olszewski, Insurance/Financial Accounts Manager  Sharon joined our team in 2005 and does a great job wading through the complex world of orthodontic insurance. In addition, she will work closely with you with the goal of creating a payment plan that is sensitive to your particular financial situation. Sharon has been married since 1972 and she has four grown children and two grandsons. She enjoys cross-stitching (every day at lunch), watching old movies and dining out. Gail Sargent, Financial Assistant  Gail has been a member of our financial team since 2004. She joins Sharon in the management of our insurance and patient accounts and is the one who will be giving you a reminder call in the rare circumstance of a missed payment. Gail has one child and she loves to read, sew and watch new movies. She is active with her Bible Study group and in her church nursery. Christina Theel, Clinical Chairside Assistant  Christina has been a member of our clinical orthodontic department since 1999. She loves her job and enjoys working with people and getting to know the wonderful families that have chosen Kattner Orthodontics to be a part of their oral health care team. Christina's hobbies are exercising, swimming and spending time with her husband, son, family and friends. Kelly Deleff, Clinical Chairside Assistant  Kelly brings a remarkable mix of enthusiasm and professionalism to our clinical treatment room. Kelly is responsible for ordering our clinical supplies, making sure we have all that we need to work on your braces. Born and raised in Kenosha she enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, outdoor activities and various sports. Kelly loves to travel to better learn about different cultures. Julie Poyer, Clinical Chairside Assistant  Like several of our employees, Julie was one of Dr. Kattner's patients as a teenager, so it was really exciting for us when she joined our team in 2005. Julie is a member of our marketing team and works very closley with our Treatment Coordinator and Dr. Kattner to bring many fun and exciting ideas to our practice. Julie is married and has two beautiful children. She enjoys reading, crafting and scrapbooking. Jenna Snyder, Clinical Chairside Assistant  Jenna joined our team at Kattner Orthodontics in January 2008. She is a certified dental assistant who came to us with some prior experience in an orthodontic environment. Jenna completed her training with us. She has two beautiful daughters who keep her busy all day. Jenna loves to spend time with her family outdoors and enjoys taking vacations to her family’s cabin in Northern WI. Cristina Reyes, Clinical Chairside Assistant  Cristina Reyes joined Kattner Orthodontics in August 2009. She has been a wonderful addition to our team. Her spirit and work ethic are truly amazing and we love having her here with us. Cristina also brings with her the talent of being bilingual. Cristina lives at home with her mother, father, and two younger brothers. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, excerising, listening to music and learning new languages.  |
